Returns

What is your return policy?

You can return any purchase within 45 days at any Pier 1 store—just bring along your original or emailed receipt and the credit card used (if a credit card purchase). Our store associates can help with everything. To return online purchases via mail, you will need to obtain a shipping label by calling our Customer Relations team at 800-245-4595. To return a Home Delivery purchase, please contact our Customer Relations team at 800-245-4595.

Online Selection & What’s in Stores

Will my Pier 1 store have exactly what’s on the site?

Not all items in your store can be viewed on our site. Each Pier 1 store has a unique selection—including store exclusives, special features and even clearance finds—that are separate from our online selection. So, as always, expect to find a few fun surprises with each new store visit.

Payment

How can I pay for my online purchase?

We accept Pier 1 Rewards credit cards, American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards and debit cards.

What is your check and credit card policy for store purchases?

We accept preprinted checks with two valid forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID. Returned checks are subject to a $30 service fee, or other amount allowed by law. Returned checks and service fees may be collected by electronic representment or through normal banking channels.

We also accept Pier 1 Rewards credit cards, American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards and debit cards.

We reserve the right to verify funds and to refuse any form of payment.

How can I apply for a Pier 1 Rewards credit card?

You can apply in our stores. If you’re a current cardmember, check your balance online. View our Pier 1 Rewards credit card page.

Why can’t I order some of the items shown on pier1.com?

Occasionally, you’ll see merchandise that’s not available to be shipped to you. These items may be in stock at a Pier 1 store and are shown on our site so you may check availability at a store near you. Many items can still be reserved and paid for online, then picked up at the store with our free Store Pickup service.

Redeeming Discounts & Rewards Certificates

Can I use discount offers, Pier 1 Rewards Certificates or Platinum Perks offers for online purchases?

Currently, you cannot use discount offers, promotional offers, Rewards Certificates or Platinum Perks offers when ordering online. These offers and savings are redeemable only on purchases made in a Pier 1 store.

When will my online purchase arrive? What are the shipping charges?

How can I get my online order the next day or sooner?

Select free Store Pickup as your delivery option. You’ll pay online and your order will be waiting for you at your designated store the very next day—or sooner.

Can I have my purchase delivered to my home and assembled for me?

Our Store Locator will show you a map of nearby stores, along with street addresses, phone numbers and store hours.

What is the Pier 1 store pricing policy?

Pier 1 is committed to accurate pricing. Price discrepancies should be brought to the attention of a store associate for immediate correction.

Pier 1 Gift Cards

Can I buy Pier 1 Gift Cards online? Can I check my gift card balance online?

You can purchase Pier 1 Gift Cards here. You can check your card’s balance by calling the toll-free number on the back of the card. You will be asked for your card’s PIN.

How can Pier 1 Gift Cards be redeemed?

Pier 1 Gift Cards can be used at any of our 1,000+ store locations in the United States and Canada, for any merchandise purchase. At this time, Pier 1 Gift Cards cannot be used for online purchases, redeemed for cash or be used as payment on Pier 1 Rewards credit cards.

Do Pier 1 Gift Cards expire?

No. Pier 1 Gift Cards have no expiration date.

How can I get early notice of promotions and events via Pier 1 mailers, email and/or SMS text?

How can I update my contact info to make sure I still get Pier 1 mailers and email?

You can notify our Customer Relations team for quick response. Include both your old and new addresses, and email Customer Relations here.

Does Pier 1 share my personal information?

How can I unsubscribe from Pier 1 email and mailers?

The fastest way to unsubscribe from email is to click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of a Pier 1 email message.
