Easter brunch stands alone among holiday events. There’s just nothing else like it! The pastels, the traditions, the bunny rabbits, the Easter eggs. It’s all so much fun, so we thought: why not enjoy the warmer weather and take the fun outdoors? |

We started our special brunch with a unique table. Make sure it’s been treated for outdoor use, and the more color, the better. Speaking of colors: keep them soft. Choose white chargers and dinnerware with small bursts of happy hues. Light pinks, greens, and yellows are all so, so Easter. Try incorporating fun icons on the table with a ceramic basket and egg, chick, and rabbit tabletop accents. |
Since Easter is usually considered the beginning of the Spring season, it’s the perfect time to bring out your entire garden of faux florals. The more the merrier. Surround the table with vases and pots of light-colored chrysanthemums, daisies and roses. The flowers will also provide the perfect hiding place for those adorable dyed Easter eggs. |

You might think that stuffed animals only belong at the child’s table, but you’d be surprised by how well they’ll go over with guests of any age. Place stuffed rabbits or feathery chicks on an outside bench or ledge, somewhere they won’t get dirty. Be sure to scoop them up when you bring in the dishes or give them away to guests as party favors. |
That’s it. That’s all it takes to craft a truly special Easter brunch outdoors. All of us here at Pier 1 hope you and your family have a fabulous holiday. We love, love, love seeing your pictures, so please show us! Post pictures on our facebook page or tweet us. Especially if you’ll be dressing up as the Easter bunny. We gotta see that. |
