During the holidays, the spotlight’s on your cooking. No worries, you’ll do great. Put on your chef’s hat and prepare to prepare.

Begin by determining your tableware needs. You’ll need to know how many guests you’ll be serving. If you’re only hosting one event, go all out with Christmas-y dinnerware. But if you’ll be entertaining throughout the holiday season from Thanksgiving to New Year’s, opt for neutral Stoneware Dinner Plates and bowls and swap out festive tabletop touches like napkin rings and table runners.

If you’re expecting a large number of guests, make a seating chart. It’s a great way to prevent confusion and to make sure everyone has exactly what they need (special diet, alcohol or no, highchair, etc.). Download and print our placecards to show everyone to their seat. Serving buffet-style? Print out our food labels to show what you’re serving. And for the kids’ table – our fun printable coloring placemats are just the ticket.

You can do it. In fact, you can create one for both Fall and Christmas with just a few changes.
For Fall:
- Start with a glass vase.
- Fill it ¼ full of Glass Gems.
- Start with eight burgundy or red stems.
- Add in a variety of stems, all in gold, white and orange hues: six mums: three rust, three gold; 12 delphiniums: six red, six gold; three orange daisies; and two orange berry branches.
For Christmas:
- Wash that same vase, because you can use it again.
- Put those eight burgundy or red stems back in the clean vase.
- Fill the vase with clear Glass Gems.
- Replace all the orange, white and gold stems with stems in all red: six red daisies; six red delphiniums; and two red berry branches.
