Here’s how we made ours:

The basket: It doesn’t have to be a basket. We started with our reusable shopping tote. So fun, so sensible—who knew? Other ideas: a beach bag, hand-painted tray or serving bowl.

Pretty, practical: We couldn’t resist adding colorful bracelets, a quilted jewelry roll and a desktop dress form. Other options: a small vase, our fresh soy candles or an indulgent bath set. Small and cute but nothing that breaks the budget.

Details: We lined our tote with basket filler to keep everything in place but tissue paper or a tea towel would work just as well—the idea is to hold everything safely in place. Top everything off with ribbon and the all-important thank-you card and you’re all ready to make someone’s day.
