This lamp is a charming addition in our vacation cabin. The opalescent stand is reminiscent of seashells and coordinates with the fishing theme in the rest of the home. The lamp adds a warm glow, yet is not too fragile for the space. It was packed nicely and includes the shade and two light bulbs.

Ordered two and only got one with no explanation provided. The shade on the one received was damaged. Called customer service and although friendly offered minimal help beyond confirming I ordered and paid for two. Guess I will get the second at their leisure.

They are a bit small, but to put them in proportion with my king size bed, I put a few books underneath. That did the job!!! The shade is linen-looking. The base is beautiful and kind of luminous in appearance, I would compare it to mercury glass maybe? I have a nautical theme in my master bedroom- they fit right in- classy and unique!

The abalone shell base is not as colorful as I would like. I was going to return but return policy not friendly, have to pay shipping (shipping cost at purchase too expensive) and then refund too long. I’ll shop at Wayfair, overstock and other user friendly refunding. Probably will no longer order from pier 1

I would like the lamp more if it did'nt have a good sized smudge of something on it's side. Maybe the stuff that glues the mosaic tiles together? It's very noticeable so not happy about it.

Unfortunately, the counter stools were defective. The holes did not align so you could not attache the base to the back of the chair. I called Powell the manufacturer and was informed that they were aware of this defect in that production lot and there was not a replacement available.
I returned the stools with the prepaid labels provided from Pier One but have not received a refund.
I am very disappointed and need my credit issued as soon as possible!

Been looking for an accept lamp that would not only be original, not too large and transitional such that would not be too modern or too traditional.
Lamp is beautiful with what appear like little shells pieced together on the base. The lampshade gives off a beautiful and unique creamish glow which is perfect as it offers light too read and offers a warm glow to the room.
I loved it so much that I bought another as might end up using on both sides of our on our nightstands instead of the accent table.
