I purchased the Ivory because it was the only color left in stock. They have since restocked. I have turned a dining room into a workout room/office - since covid and teaching from home. The chair arrived quickly - easy to assemble. Mine did have a small slice in the fabric UNDER the chair that I didn’t notice until I had assembled. I’m decent with a needle and thread and would not have paid to send back. It has a nice swivel - but no rocking motion. I think it has a ‘very small’ pitch forward - but it okay. I like it. I liked the price. It’s comfy and adds some class to my makeshift office. Overall happy with purchase.

Very good looking, fits my room perfectly. Comfortable, wheels work well. I like that you can adjust the height. Assembly was not as intuitive as I was hoping, but this is often the case for me. I don't see why companies like this can't create decent assembly instructions for the price that they charge.

Received in good condition. It was easy to assemble. I'd call the color more like magenta then red..has a pink cast to it. It's comfortable. I really wish the support wasn't gold, but black or silver, but for the price and comfort, I'm happy with it.

I have been looking for a desk chair for a long time. I ordered from Wayfair last year and the chair was back ordered for so long that I just decided to cancel the order. This chair came in less than a week from when I ordered it. It is stylish, sturdy and is pretty quick to put together. The seat cushion could be more comfortable but honestly the pros outweigh the cons for me. It’s a beautiful chair. I’m happy I got it. Side note- I am 5’4” and at the lowest setting my feet just barely hit the floor because the seat cushion height. So if you are shorter, that may be something to consider.

The chair itself is comfortable, but the quality of a seat foam is not the best. After seating on it for a few times, and I am only 150 lbs, it shows a big crease on one side of the seat...I wish it would be a better quality for a price.

Love this chair! I own an alteration shop and I sit for several hours in a day sewing. I needed a chair that was comfortable and this chair is it! It’s plush and I was nervous about it attracting little bits of thread but I have had no issues with that at all. It was well worth the money .

I ordered it by mistake, while in hospital, because I couldn’t sleep; hit the wrong button and couldn’t cancel order, due to off store hours it said. Sent an email and still order could not be cancelled. Order came, I received a return label from Pier1, and had to pay $15.57 to send order back. Waiting for a complete return. I never opened the package, UPS came to pick up box and my check to have it delivered back to sender. Lesson I learned is never place an order while in hospital, under strong medication, and during the wee hours of the morning.

This chair is gorgeous in my guest room/work-from-home office. And I find sitting in it to be comfortable; the seat is wide and deep, which is perfect for someone like me that likes to sit cross-legged in their desk chair. My only issue is that with the shape of the "arms" of the chair are more aesthetic than functional. I am short, so once I am sitting back in the chair, I cannot rest my arms along the sides of the chair comfortable.

I love this chair! It's beautiful and easy to assemble. I have lower back issues and although this isn't a classic ergonomic office chair, it is comfortable for my back. I like the barrel design and can sit in the chair different ways (straight up or cross legged or criss cross applesauce [indian style that we're not supposed to say] etc). The seat cushion is very comfortable!!! No regrets on this purchase!

This chair replaced an older task chair that did not have arms. This chair is much better looking and is more secure. The only thing I have to get used to is having the sides/arms where I didn't before. But the chair is a good height for my desk and is very comfortable to sit in. And it looks nice with my office decor.

I love this chair! It is very soft and comfortable. If does not have any back support, however, so if you plan to use this chair for long periods of time you will need a back support pillow. Mine arrived with a tear on the fabric which was disappointing but customer service has been helpful in resolving the issue.

I really do love the chair, but the casters are plastic and cheap. I am not a heavy person and I can hardly move the chair around on my desk floor protector. I am in the process of trying to find some metal casters to replace these plastic ones.

This is a really pretty chair. Assembly was easy, except for putting the wheels in the base. I almost gave up, but finally figured out that you have to press your entire body weight into the wheels to get them to click into place.
I have one major disappointment about this chair, though. I weigh 125 pounds and after just two weeks of only occasionally sitting in this chair the seat cushion is already flattened.

The shopping experience was a nightmare! If you all think that Pier One is the same quality company we thought it once was, think again! A scene from Star Wars says “you’ll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy (Tattoine bar scene).That’s this company now. Where to start? Well, they state that orders over $149 have free shipping. Nope, you’ll get charged. I found it the same exact chair on Wayfare for way less right after I bought this chair! However I couldn’t return it within 15 minutes, because they were closed. When I called the next day to try to cancel, or at least have them price match, they stated it wasn’t the same chair… I guess it’s buyer beware here! So they sent me a return shipping label to return the product, but never once stated that I wouldn’t get my money back. Instead I when I called to inquire a week later where my refund was, I was then told I’d be issued a ridiculous gift certificate that I somehow need to spend. I would have kept the chair, had I known this would be the case!! I don’t want to shop here, I want my money back!

Months after ordering, I sent an inquiry as to status. THAT got them to reply that the vendor had run out of my chair. I demanded money back and they said it “had been referred to the appropriate department and it would take 8-10 days to process a refund”. Bad service for a fairly expensive item”

It's cute but uncomfortable if you're using it as an office chair, which is how it's marketed. No support for your back so you have to jam a pillow back there. I tried to return it but they told me I had to box it back up (??) and could only offer store credit, which I didn't want because I rarely shop at Pier 1. And now I definitely won't because of this experience. So I'm trying to make it work.

The chair fabric was not in pristine shape. It had a spot on it and the piping on the back was not straight. Once the chair was assembled there was no sending it back for a return as would have been difficult to rebox and ship. The chair does not provide any lower back support nor is it adjustable to provide for same. I was disappointed since I have been working from home and was looking for something that was comfortable as well as good looking. The chair; however, looks good from afar when pushed in behind the desk.
