Designed by Rajesh Gehlot in India, this angelic tree topper welcomes Christmas with open arms. Crafted from soft wool, the angel-faced star is stuffed with polyfill for just the right shape, then embellished with shimmering plastic sequins. An opening at the bottom lets you slip the star right over the top of your tree.

Story Behind the art:
I come from the pink city of Jaipur. I grew up in a family in Jaipur where family values, tradition and culture mean a lot. I went to school in the beautiful pink city itself. There was so much to explore, as Jaipur has a rich history. While still studying, I took up a part time job to earn some pocket money. Since I was good at drawing, I worked as a sketch artist at an export house that dealt in leather goods and stone home décor items. For a modest salary, I sketched bags and they really liked my work, so much that they wanted to hire me permanently. So after I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree, I joined them full time. With me, they started a new category of felt items. I began helping them create new designs by means of my sketching, and it worked out well. In fact, in one of the exhibitions, my creation received the first prize among almost 5,000 entries. It was such a moment of pride for me. The owner of my company had me accept the award on behalf of his company since I was the creator of the pieces that won. This was a great feeling of achievement for me. We worked together so well. My boss taught me a lot and I would say that whatever I have learned so far, a lot of the credit goes to him, too. But I always wanted to do something of my own. So, after spending almost eight years with the same company, I started out on my own. It was a big challenge but I did not lose hope. Slowly, I found people to collaborate with me and taught them the work. We started participating in exhibitions and slowly but surely, people started appreciating our work. Today I am proud to say that we are doing well, although not in a big way. I specialized in holiday ornaments, home furnishings, carpets, wall hangings, etc. but, so far, our holiday ornaments have been a big hit with shoppers. I hope you like all our designs.
The handmade touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

You can return most items for a store credit within 30 days of delivery. Unless noted below, outbound shipping charges are non-refundable and you will be responsible for all return shipping costs.
Clearance merchandise and any items marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned. Other nonreturnable merchandise includes clearance items, personalized items, bundled items at discount rates (e.g. “4 for $20”; unless the entire bundle is returned), items marked nonreturnable at the checkout or within the product description page, and products that have been assembled
If there is a mistake with your order, or items arrive defective/damages at the time of receipt, we will take care of it and work with you to find the best solution as further described below.

Returns/Exchanges
You can return most items for store credit redeemable on pier1.com within 30 days of delivery. The following will apply:
- Only outbound shipping charges for damaged orders will be refunded. All other shipping charges are non-refundable and will automatically be deducted from the refund credit amount.
- Clearance merchandise, any items marked “Final Sale” or marked nonreturnable may not be returned/exchanged.
- Returns/exchanges are not accepted on pillows, comforter sets, or other bedding products.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.
- Each returned item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.
- We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back returns.
- Refunds are generally issued within 5-7 business days after we have processed your return.
Defective Product and Returns due to Our Error
If there are mistakes with your order, or items arrive defective/damaged at the time of receipt, we’ll make it right by sending you replacement parts or accessories, replacing the item or issuing you a refund. In such an event, there is no return shipping charges.
Order Cancellations
Because your order is processed as quickly as possible, there is a 15 minute window for order cancellation during our normal business hours. Please call Customer Service at (888) 384-0700 immediately if you have placed an order in error. If the cancellation request occurs more than 15 minutes after the order is placed, or outside of our normal business hours, the order will be delivered, and must be processed as a return upon delivery.
