Crafted from recycled 55-gallon steel drums by village artisans in Haiti, these stunning pieces of art are truly one-of-a-kind! The process of turning sheets of metal into beautiful art is all done by hand. Steel drums used to transport oil into the capital of Haiti are cut, the oil is burned off to clean the metal and then flattened in order to create stunning, upcycled art. Suitable for Indoor or Outdoor Use. Type: Metal Wall Art Colors: Metallic Materials: Upcycled Steel Metal Finish: Lacquer Dimensions: Approx. 14 Diameter Care: If displaying outdoors it is recommended to spray with a clear lacquer once or twice a year, as prolonged exposure to the elements will cause rust. Hanging Instructions: To hang metal art simply use pinhead nails in the many nooks and spaces available in the design. If nails are shiny, you may want to darken heads with a black marker to help nails visually disappear. Given the handmade nature of this product please allow for minor variations. As the metal is recovered from recycled oil drums and colored through a burning process it will vary slightly in coloration. Typically the piece has a darkened steel patina. If handpainted, exact colors may vary, which speaks to the one-of-a-kind nature of each piece. Returns/Exchanges

You can return most items for store credit redeemable on pier1.com within 30 days of delivery.  The following will apply:

  • Only outbound shipping charges for damaged orders will be refunded. All other shipping charges are non-refundable and will automatically be deducted from the refund credit amount.
  • Clearance merchandise, any items marked “Final Sale” or marked nonreturnable may not be returned/exchanged.
  • Returns/exchanges are not accepted on pillows, comforter sets, or other bedding products.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.
  • Each returned item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.
  • We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back returns.
  • Refunds are generally issued within 5-7 business days after we have processed your return.

Defective Product and Returns due to Our Error

If there are mistakes with your order, or items arrive defective/damaged at the time of receipt, we’ll make it right by sending you replacement parts or accessories, replacing the item or issuing you a refund.  In such an event, there is no return shipping charges.

Order Cancellations

Because your order is processed as quickly as possible, there is a 15 minute window for order cancellation during our normal business hours. Please call Customer Service at (888) 384-0700 immediately if you have placed an order in error. If the cancellation request occurs more than 15 minutes after the order is placed, or outside of our normal business hours, the order will be delivered, and must be processed as a return upon delivery.

  1. In its original, undamaged condition
  2. Disassembled, if the item was originally delivered disassembled
  3. In its original packaging. If the original packaging is too damaged to be shipped back, you must use a similar sized box as the original or a box no longer than 108 inches.

There are a few items that can’t be returned:

  • Clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized items
  • Bundled items at discounted rates, e.g. “5 for $25” (unless the entire bundle is returned)
  • Items you have already assembled
  • Items marked “Final Sale” on the sale page
  • Open Box Items


Any outbound shipping charges collected on the order will not be refunded
