The Dining Room

Focus on the tabletop. Rethink the standard red and green color scheme for your holiday tablescape. Consider cool blue. It can feel surprisingly festive when teamed with a rustic napkin ring and plenty of winter fruits.

The Family Room

Let the food speak for itself. A coffee table isn't technically a dining table, so try not to overcrowd it with food. Instead, tap into your stockpile of festive holiday decor and simple greenery to really bring it to life.

The Guest Room

Create a home away from home. Go the extra mile with comfort by decking out the guest room in cozy blankets and pillows. Be sure to also add essentials like water and bedtime snacks to provide extra convenience for your guests.

The Living Room

Don’t overcrowd your mantel. When it comes to mantel decor, be sure to include items of varying heights, and remember the rule of thirds. Divide your area into 3 equal parts using 2 horizontal lines. Then, add 2 more vertical lines. Where the lines intersect is where the most important elements should be placed.
